A Door Opening on the Real World

It is remarkable, how the expectation that other people will be virtuous clears the field for mirth, and dance, and song, and gratitude.

     We American Catholics are now rejoicing in the good news from the Supreme Court: the overturning of the disastrous and arrogant decision in Roe vs. Wade (1973), that basically made abortion on demand the rule in the United States, and with one sweep of the judicial hand wiped out every state law governing it, and every protection for the unborn child, who was now to be exposed utterly to the will of his mother.
